Spacelab Fragment
Spacelab was a reusable laboratory developed by the European Space Agency (ESA) for use in Space Shuttle missions.
The Spacelab module could be fitted into the Space Shuttle’s cargo bay, transforming the shuttle into a temporary space research station with a range of experiments in various disciplines, including astronomy, biology, physics, and Earth sciences, among others.
This fragment was part of the STS-58 Spacelab Life Sciences-2 mission, which involved experiments related to physiological responses to microgravity.
