Description
SR-71 Blackbird Wreckage (Item # A-1012)
This appears to be a section of tubing that has been bent and mangled. It still has a tubing clamp, isolator, and bracket attached to it. It also includes a piece of tubing wrap and some desert residue.
This tubing carried fluids—possibly fuel, coolant, oil, or air—throughout the engines or other parts of the aircraft. The image below of a J58 engine shows an example one such tubing/bracket assembly.
Dimensions: 4″ x 3″ x 1.5″
