SR-71 Blackbird Wreckage (Item # A-1017)

This appears to be a section of titanium support with a section of titanium skin held to it with 8 rivets. The piece has been twisted nearly 180°.

Interestingly, one side of the support piece has a handwritten label “UPPER” in black marker, and the rivets show signs of possible pencil markings designating their locations. These notes appear to be from the plane’s construction in the 1960s.

This piece has sharp edges.
